Cora came to Phoenixville Women’s Outreach after spending several months in her car. Despite this hardship, Cora had continued working full time with her employer. Cora completed several milestones while in our program. She got divorced so that she could have a fresh and independent start. She retired after being in the workforce for over 40 years. She prioritized her health and had major surgery. While staying at PWO, Cora saved a nest egg surmounting over $5000, enough to allow her to transition out of The House and into next step housing. We wish her well as she continues to prioritize herself and her future wellbeing.
