Clara

Clara came to The House with many medical concerns that had challenged her ability to live independently. While at The House she was able to address these medical concerns and find work to support herself. Despite many set backs, mostly due to medical issues, Clara was able to consistently contribute to her By You For You Savings account with The House. Upon leaving the House, she had saved enough money for a down payment on a small house to rent with her adult daughter and two grandchildren. Being at The House gave Clara the space she needed to re-center herself, address several medical concerns, and save towards her independence.
