Blair
Blair was evicted from her apartment a day before the COVID Memorandums took effect. She fought the eviction notice, and was forced to move in with friends and family as the eviction proceeded. During this process, Blair had gotten sick and become unable to work. She quickly blew through her savings in order to survive. When Blair found The House, she was living with her mother, who was also in need of more permanent housing. When Blair moved into The House, her luck began to change. The House provided Blair with a safe place to live while she continued looking for housing for her and her mother. Within a couple of weeks Blair secured an apartment with her mother, using a housing voucher. In preparing to leave The House Blair developed short term and long term goals that focused on her self care and mental health well-being. She also worked with PWO to create a budget and plan for her future expenses so that she could be better prepared for her next step.
