Eliza

Eliza lost her housing after the death of a family member for whom she had been caring while working full-time.  She came to The House with a serious health issue which ultimately required surgery.  We were able to assist her with pre- and post-surgery doctor appointments, support her while in the hospital, and provide necessary medical supplies afterwards.  We assisted her with paperwork for insurance and disability.  She continues to make progress towards returning to work.  Eliza often speaks about how thankful she is for The House.  She now has moved into our Next Step House, where she shares a four-bedroom apartment.
