Darcey

Darcey was living in a hotel funded by a veteran’s organization. Previously she had been living with her boyfriend, who continued to use drugs, despite Darcey’s attempt of sobriety. Darcey put herself and her sobriety first by leaving her boyfriend and moving into a hotel. This was an expensive decision. With the help of the VA, Darcey found Phoenixville Women’s Outreach. While with Phoenixville Women’s Outreach, Darcey focused on her sobriety, her mental health, and starting over. Darcey learned to set boundaries with those in her life and to prioritize her well-being. After 3 months, Darcey moved on from the house with a significant amount of savings and a 2 bedroom apartment in her name.
